Phoenix is a web based collaboration, document sharing,
social networking, mapping and publishing tool. Allowing communities, and organizations, to share
announcements, contacts, email, events, links, polls,
surveys, tasks, and weblogs. Information can be
organized into workspaces (or projects) that have
unique permissions assigned to users (i.e. authors,
administrators, browsers, etc..). Using a familiar
shopping cart metaphor and powerful search engine,
users can find and compile local or remote multivariate
data with ease.
Its built in RSS aggregator and wizard based publisher
allow users to push and pull news and
information using RSS.
Phoenix is currently deployed and in heavy use in
South America by the Governments of Argentina, Bolivia,
Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela.
